Chrissie is the rock on which this firm is built. It was her vision, along with two fellow professionals, who inspired Chic Total Business Services.

Chrissie founded Chic Total Business Services after working for many years in start-ups and small businesses. Her experience with a manufacturing firm where she played an integral role in taking the company from start-up to international, provided her with the kind of business street smarts that no university can match. Chrissie's bachelor's degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany gave her the ability to interpret and understand the big picture. Her motivation to succeed has lead her to continuing professional studies as well. Chrissie's motto? "I don't see problems — only the next big challenge."

Chrissie is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and the National Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (NIPB). She subscribes to the weekly Internal Revenue newsletters for non-profit agencies and small businesses to keep abreast of changes as they happen. Chrissie is also a Quickbooks Pro Advisor, a notary Public, and has worked successfully with many non-profit agencies, several retail stores, a marketing agency, and a construction company since leaving the manufacturing facility in 2001.

Chrissie is a published writer and member of the International Women's Writing Guild. She is a recognized songwriter who has traveled up and down the east coast singing and teaching songwriting. She has just released her second CD project and is also a voice coach who loves working with young people in honing their performance skills.

Chrissie currently shares her home with her son, husband, one dog, a cat and two birds. At the moment, they are all covering their ears as she learns to play the violin.

Michael brings Chic Total Business Services over 14 years of experience in the advertising and publicity business respresenting an eclectic group of clients including a Fortune 500 insurance company, a wealth management bank, an elite Hollywood fitness trainer, a London-based film maker, a New York-based screenwriter, a novelist and a southern California artist. One of Michael's greatest strengths is his ability to see talent in his clients — and exploit it. He is a Publicist and Marketer for screenwriters, illustrators and artists that are looking to make serious cash and who are committed to their work. Michael has found that many creative professionals are uncomfortable with "tooting their own horn", so he does it for them, stepping in and making great things happen.

Michael has the incredible ability to build excitement and passion in his clients while smoothly translating their work into buzz through social media networking, word of mouth, and traditional press. He advocates for his clients and, in most cases, presents and sells their work.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York College at Brockport and is a member of the American Marketing Association as well as the National Association of TV and Programming Executives.

Matthew is an experienced multimedia designer of 9 years and plays a major role in Chic's creative direction and web production. As a developer of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ActionScript and PHP, he works closely with our web development team to produce valuable results both functionally and aesthetically.

In recent years, Matthew has been working as a full-time freelancer thanks to his innovative spirit, independent nature, and quality of work. Matthew's interest in small business growth has led him to several business startup opportunities where he has been able to exercise his knowledge, skills, and talents toward finding new success. During his career, Matthew has worked with clients small and large throughout the capital region of New York, as well as the metropolitan regions of New York City and Columbus, Ohio.

Aside from his work life, Matthew loves music and art. He is the lead singer/guitarist for a rock band called Burning Man and currently has other musical projects in the making. Matthew also lives and breathes all that New York City has to offer and plans to move back to his beloved Manhattan with hopes of calling the West Village his home in the not-so-distant future.

Christofer took an interest in all things computers and electronics at the ripe old age of three. His discovery of computer languages in junior high school sparked in him an even greater interest and is still a major hobby of Christofer's today. Throughout his high school and college career, Christofer completed courses in various computer languages including: Visual Basic, Visual Basic .NET, Pascal, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, and MySQL.

Christofer acquired his Associate's degree in Computer Network Systems and has received his B.S. in Information Security, as well. The mix between the networking and security aspects of his degrees, as well as his hobby of programming, has given Christofer an all-around view of the industry and an understanding he would not have had without the schooling.

In late 2007, Christofer became involved in a project with Chic Total Business Services as a web programmer for their web development department. He currently focuses on programming with the PHP language (although many others are used during development) and deals with most database development aspects.

Natalie has been a writer ever since she can remember. At the young age of 8, one of Natalie's grade school teachers encouraged her imaginative and creative mind and made sure to check up on her before she embarked on junior high — just to see that she was still exercising her creative writing talents. Throughout junior high and high school, Natalie continued to write creatively and always kept her third grade teacher's inspiring words in the back of her mind. She contributed many writing pieces to her school newspapers, art magazines, and even won a few poetry contests. Natalie's high school art teacher (who was also a seasoned musician) inspired her to lend her talents to songwriting — something she immensely enjoys to this day.

After high school, Natalie dabbled in various majors during her college career before deciding on her original choice — English. She excelled in her courses and found herself falling in love with the works of Shakespeare, William Wordsworth, Lord Byron and Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Natalie's English professors were quite impressed with her intriguing essays and creative writing pieces. A couple of Natalie's professors even used some of her completed assignments as models for their future students to use as references.

In June of 2008, Natalie graduated (Cum Laude) with her Associate of Arts degree in English and is currently attending The Ohio State University as a Journalism major. Natalie is a freelance writer and editor, has written radio spots and newsletters for small companies, and is a content writer and creative assistant for a beauty industry publication based out of Columbus, Ohio.

When Natalie isn't correcting your grammar and sentence structure, she likes to contribute her free time to her other passions which include: singing, songwriting, animal rights activism, environmental activism and yoga — just to name a few.
